A handy Local Church Guide is available in our tourist information display adjacent to Reception @ The Observatory or from Port Macquarie Visitor Information Centre (VIC), at the corner of Gordon & Gore Streets. Bus timetables are also available at these outlets. For massages and pampering you need go no further than Endota Spa, at the ground floor entry to The Observatory. We've a range of car and 4WD rental operators and car and boat wash facilities. Or there are mini-vans and limos to take you around in privacy and luxury and even a "designated driver" service who will collect you and your car and return you safely to your accommodation if you feel you've savoured one too many of our delicious local wines.
If you're in service yourself � don't miss your regular Rotary meeting: Port Macquarie and district is home to eight Rotary and Inner Wheel clubs meeting weekly, along with other leading community service clubs.
Wanting to send flowers? We have some wonderful florists - the closest to The Observatory is Glasshouse Flowers, right next door to the entry to the Glasshouse itself. Looking for a laundrette and wash and iron service? Our home-grown, budget-priced Willing & Able service is right opposite Coles in Short Street.
Also near to The Observatory is a complex of corner stores to provide the elements for your picnic or barbecue: easily located just a few blocks away at the roundabout corner of Gordon & Munster Streets you'll find a butcher, baker, general store/newsagency and fruit and vegie shop.
