SOUTHERN CROSS RESORTS PRIVACY POLICY Southern Cross Resorts is committed to the protection of privacy. We aim to maintain a safe and secure system of handling individual information whilst providing access to your personal information when required. It is our intention to handle this information strictly within compliance of the Commonwealth Government's National Privacy Principles. This policy sets out the principles we will adopt in order to protect an individuals personal information. These principles deal primarily with the collection, use and disclosure of, as well as your access to information Southern Cross Resorts may have collected. Collection of Personal Information We only collect information about individuals that is necessary for us to carry out our business function. The information we collect depends on the nature of the dealings we have with you. Whenever it is reasonable and practicable to do so, we only collect information about individuals from those specific individuals. Occasionally we may receive information from third parties, but if we use such information for any reason, we will advise the affected individual shortly after we receive it. From time to time we may send information to clients regarding services or products offered by Southern Cross Resorts, which may be of interest to them. You have the right to request us not to continue with these communications and if you contact our Privacy Officer we will ensure this is corrected. B) Protect data collected from misuse loss or unauthorized access. C) Destroy or permanently de-identify the information if it is no longer needed for any purpose.
